Department: Sterile Processing AIP

Shift: Weekend Nights

Pay: $22.80 - $29.64 / hour

Summary: As a Lead Sterile Processing Technician, you will guide and support your team to ensure optimal performance in sterile processing functions. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of productivity and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and assessment of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and evaluate team members, fostering a positive and cooperative work atmosphere.
  • Coordinate services, prioritize assignments, and support team decision-making and problem-solving efforts.
  • Engage in the handling of complex issues while performing the responsibilities of the underlying role.
  • Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to operate effectively with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Medical Terminology course.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Certified as a CSPDT or CRCST. Preferred additional certifications include Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL), Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS), or Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER).
  • Minimum Experience: 2 years in sterile processing.
