We are looking for aRoyalty Analystto join ourBusiness Management and Family Office. As aRoyalty Analyst, you willbe responsible for:

Responsibilities:
  • Assistwith royalty incometracking
  • Create databases and summarizestatements
  • Review, interpret and apply contract terms.
  • Perform detailedanalyses
  • Maintain and organize all documents.
  • Communicate with points of contact at music companies (record labels, publishers, etc.) and other licensees of intellectualproperty
  • Prepare complex artist, producer, publisher, profit participation and mechanicalstatements
  • Prepare complex income allocationschedules
  • Prepare complex analyticalreports
  • Prepare reports for clientmeetings
  • Field internal and external royalty inquiries ina timelyandaccuratemanner
  • Comfortably interact with clients through written and spoken communications.
  • Assistwithvarious typesof royalty-relatedresearch
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Music Business Management, or similar
  • Advancedproficiencyin Excel, including pivot tables and formulas such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF) - bonus points for experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • 2-5 years of music industry royalty experience
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented analytical thinker
  • Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills and readingcomprehension
  • Understand basis accountingprinciples
  • Work well independently and in a teamenvironment
  • Be eager to learn new skills andconcepts
  • Ability to multi-task
