Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking high-performing NPs and PAs for an ongoing locums urgent care assignment at a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic in Kansas City, Missouri.

This practice blends high-touch patient care with modern clinical innovation - giving providers the tools, autonomy, and workflow efficiency they need to maximize patient outcomes and minimize administrative burden.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APP seeking flexibility, ongoing shifts, and a stable, well-supported urgent care role.

Assignment Overview

  • Location: Kansas City, MO
  • Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care
  • Contract Type: Locum Tenens
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7 days/week (flexible assignments available)
  • Start Date: ASAP - ongoing
  • Volume: ~4-5 patients per hour
  • Scope: Full-spectrum urgent care, all ages
  • Support: On-site laboratory & X-ray team
  • EMR: Proprietary AI-powered EHR designed for hands-free efficiency
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive urgent care evaluations for pediatric & adult patients
  • Diagnose & treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
  • Order and interpret:
    • X-rays
    • Labs
    • EKGs
  • Conduct common urgent care procedures:
    • Laceration repair
    • Splinting
    • Incision & drainage
  • Maintain clinic flow and timely patient throughput
  • Document efficiently using a highly intuitive EMR
  • Utilize a robust network of remote clinical support when needed
Qualifications
  • Active & unrestricted Missouri NP or PA license
  • Active DEA
  • BLS/ACLS
  • DOT certification (or willingness to obtain; clinic provides support & reimbursement)
  • 1+ year experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Primary Care
  • Ability to manage all ages independently
  • Confident procedural skillset
