Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.
We currently have an opening for a Part-Time NP/PA. Experience in Primary Care and Geriatrics preferred.
Job Type: Part-time, Direct hire
Pay: $70-75 per hour
Hours: 1-2 days per week/open to days
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients with acute illnesses and chronic diseases.
- Perform comprehensive adult wellness exams and preventive screenings.
- Manage chronic disease treatment plans, medication adjustments, and follow-up care.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
- Prescribe medications and manage controlled substances according to state and federal regulations.
- Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health.
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for adult and geriatric patients.
Requirements:
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of CA
- National certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in internal medicine or geriatric primary care
- DEA License
- Basic Life Support (BLS/ACLS)
- Bilingual, preferred
