Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an adaptable and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in general nursing, dialysis, or mental health for a 13-week staff augmentation travel assignment in Lebanon, Ohio. The RN will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of settings, supporting departments in need of coverage due to fluctuating staffing levels.
This position requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work in both structured and fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and reliability-particularly during high-demand periods and holidays.
Candidates must be local to the area and available to work holidays, including Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Schedule flexibility is required, as shifts may change based on facility needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across general, dialysis, or mental health units.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans tailored to patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Monitor vital signs, manage dialysis treatments (if applicable), and document patient progress accurately.
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for patients experiencing mental health challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Adjust to schedule changes and float as needed to units within the scope of competence.
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.
- Uphold professional standards while working holidays and during periods of increased patient volume.
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (required).
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in general nursing, dialysis, or mental health (required).
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (required).
- Must be local to the Lebanon, OH area (no travel stipends provided).
- Must be available to work holidays and flexible shifts based on facility needs.
- Previous candidates rejected by this facility for prior RN postings will not be reconsidered.
- Excellent adaptability, communication, and patient-centered care skills.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test required.
