Key responsibilities
- Application knowledge and Hands on experience of EBS R12.1 and 12.2
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
- Starting and Stopping the application
- Application and its internal components (oacore, forms, apache etc.) monitoring
- Individual application component bounce
- Application User management (User creation, end dating, Responsibility assignment )
- Implement application security (TLS, HTTP Headers etc..)
- Dual file system concept of Oracle EBS 12.2 x.
- Application cloning into Non-prod environments from Production or Non-Production.
- Application Patch Analysis & Assessment (PSU, CPU, Family packs, Upgrade packs, Standalone)
- Application patching using adop, bsu, & opatch utilities.
- Application tasks through ADOP & ADADMIN
- Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
- Concurrent processing (Concurrent managers and requests, PCP)
- Working in Linux/Unix OS, shell scripting
- Understanding of the Oracle Weblogic servers, managed servers
- Code Migration Support to Functional Consultants, Developers
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development/support teams.
- Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
- Understanding of Database schemas and tablespace
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member in cross-functional teams.
- Work with business resources to assist with system issues or walk them through product issues.
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
- Managing applications on multiple nodes, understanding of load balancing concepts, DMZ setups for E-Business Suite.
- Good to have database performance tuning knowledge
