Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a part time Sr. Accountant to act as a right hand person to their Finance Executive. This is a fully remote position with the possibility of eventually converting to full time, permanent role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $40 to $50 per year.

Job responsibilities:

  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Cost reduction strategies to identify ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
  • Responsible for closing the books at the end of each month.
  • Manage and review accounts payable payment processing.
  • Evaluate T&E expenses and propose cost-saving measures.
  • Recommend strategies to reduce costs and improve revenue.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • 6+ years of financial management and accountant experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and accounting software's (QuickBooks) or (Biill.com)
Experience:
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, purchasing and variance analysis.
  • Experience leading financial forecasting activities to predict future financial plans with FP&A.
  • Strong knowledge of full cycle of Accounts Payable.
  • Great communication and attention to detail skills.
