Job Description

Laborer, Grounds Maintenance

Grounds maintenance, grass cutting, tree and shrub pruning, and general vegetation control must be provided by the contractor. Services must include, but are not limited to maintaining lawns, beds, curbs, driveways, sidewalks, buildings, keeping all areas clear of sediment build-up, and controlling the amount of standing water to minimize mosquito breeding. All grass within 20’ feet of structures, tanks, pits, pipelines, field grass, slopes, hills, swales, ditches, and fire hydrants, must be maintained and must not exceed “4” inches in height at any given time. All vegetation within contractor-controlled areas, on/under fence lines, and in the security zone outside the fence line of the bulk storage, refueler-parking area, must be maintained with the prescribed limits. Bulk vegetation and waste accumulated during mowing, removal, and control operations must be disposed of by the contractor. Remove all vegetation and silt within the berms and throughout the terminal drainage ditch system. Ensure unimpeded pedestrian and vehicular traffic.T
