Join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead operations at a Taco Bell franchise, where you will be primarily responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the quality of food and safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Championing guest satisfaction and addressing any concerns or low evaluation scores promptly.
  • Strictly adhering to food safety protocols, food preparation, and storage guidelines to ensure quality and safety.
  • Promoting a safe environment for both guests and employees, by maintaining cleanliness and proper handling of cleaning substances.
  • Implementing and overseeing security procedures to maintain the safety of the restaurant.
  • Ensuring daily cleaning and sanitation practices are thoroughly completed as part of routine operations.
  • Supporting the General Manager (RGM) by completing additional tasks as required.

As a crucial part of the management team, you will be accountable for the overall restaurant operations during your shifts, providing guidance and support to your team to ensure successful performance.

Management Requirements:

  • Enforcement of food safety standards consistently.
  • Ensuring a safe environment for guests and employees.
  • Monitoring store security and proper employee conduct.
  • Providing oversight for employee tasks and performance.
  • Keeping the store prepared for inspections, ensuring proper labeling and expiring products are addressed.
  • Maintaining labor and product use percentages within acceptable limits.
  • Making proactive decisions to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Constantly demonstrating a friendly, helpful demeanor towards customers and team members.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Overseeing the restaurant’s opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensuring employees meet grooming and uniform standards.
  • Guiding the team to maintain a sense of urgency in service and food preparation.
  • Monitoring product portioning during shifts and making on-the-spot corrections.
  • Coordinating cash control and employee accountability for compliance.
  • Facilitating proper maintenance and reporting of equipment and facility issues.
  • Conducting timely and accurate documentation of employee performance and any necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Processing bank deposits and managing inventory and product orders effectively.
  • Communicating clear updates and concerns to the RGM.
  • Timely addressing of customer complaints and ensuring the restaurant is clean and fully prepared for the next day.
