If you are passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality in a dynamic environment, then this is the job for you We are seeking a motivated and skilled Facility Upkeep Specialist to contribute to our team's success and ensure our property remains in prime condition.

Your Role: You'll be responsible for performing light maintenance work and housekeeping tasks to keep our property looking its best. Your contributions will play a crucial role in providing guests with an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Light & Preventive Maintenance: Handle basic repairs and maintenance throughout the facility, including:
    • Plumbing: Unclogging sinks and toilets.
    • Electrical: Changing light bulbs and switches.
    • Studio Maintenance: Conduct preventive upkeep like painting and pest control.
    • General Cleaning: Manage carpet shampooing and exterior upkeep.
  • Room Preparation & Inspection: Ensure guest rooms are prepared and inspected per brand standards after each move-out, addressing any maintenance issues.
  • Cleaning & Staging: Keep public areas clean according to our standards and correctly stage guest room supplies.
  • Waste Management: Remove trash and treat linens for stains before removal.

Additional Support:

  • Laundry Duties: Help with the washing, drying, and folding of linens while maintaining laundry facilities.
  • Cross-Training: Be willing to learn and perform duties for our Move-Out and Stay-Over Attendants as needed.
  • On-Call Requirements: Be available for emergencies, clocking in/out as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of light maintenance and housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and painting tasks.

Skills:

  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate light equipment safely.
  • Communication: Proficient in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Problem Solving: Capable of following written procedures and adapting to changing tasks.
  • Service Orientation: Always respond positively and helpfully to guests and team members.
