Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

HealthCare Support is currently interviewing for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to join a leading healthcare network in the Southern, CO region. Pay Details:

  • $38.72 - $58.08 hourly

Required Qualifications for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registered in one or more of the following:
  • RDMS (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
  • RVT (Vascular Technologist)
  • RDCS (Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) via ARDMS
  • Certified in Sonography (S) via ARRT
Some locations require no experience

Daily Responsibilities for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:

Perform sonography according to scope of practice and organizational standards Review patient history, orders, and schedule; educate patients about procedures Prepare and administer contrast media/medications when ordered (within scope) Monitor patient condition and report changes as needed Operate ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality checks Position patients and conduct imaging procedures Analyze imaging results, ensure quality, and take corrective action as needed Document and report findings accurately
