Schedule Details:
$10,000 SIGN-ON Bonus Eligible with distance-based relocation available.
$2,000 SIGN-ON Bonus Eligible for PM Shifts at ASLMC.

Join our amazing Operating Room team, where your contributions help make a difference for patients every day. As Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, Wisconsin's largest hospital, we provide innovative care across a variety of specialties.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe operating room environment to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Utilize aseptic techniques for the preparation of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Set up the operating room for each case and ensure the safety and efficiency of all procedures.
  • Assist as a Second Assistant when necessary.
  • Manage equipment and supply issues promptly.
  • Transport patients, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Maintain specialty carts to ensure availability of essential items.

Licensure, Registration, and Certification:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months of hiring.

Education:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.

Experience:

  • No prior experience required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Aseptic surgical techniques knowledge.
  • Familiarity with operating room equipment.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 30 lbs., and perform necessary movements during shifts.
  • Exposure to various hazards; requires use of protective gear.
