Position Overview:

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing diagnostic imaging utilizing advanced magnetic resonance techniques, including Cardiac MRI and Interoperative MRI. Your expertise is crucial in ensuring quality imaging and patient safety.

Highlights of the Position:

  • Weekend Schedule: Full-time with three 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday.
  • Competitive Salary: Starting at $30.91/hour, with daily pay options available.
  • Attractive Sign-On Bonus: Receive up to $20,000 if you have at least one year of experience.
  • Shift Differentials: Enjoy an additional $7.50/hour for weekend shifts and $2/hour for other weekend work.
  • Tuition Support: MRI cross-training available, with course tuition fully covered for full-time employees.
  • Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Perform magnetic resonance imaging examinations with precision and care.
  2. Conduct thorough MR safety screenings for all patients and staff prior to entering the MR room.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring a clear understanding of procedures.
  4. Maintain high standards in image quality and safety protocols.
  5. Prepare necessary documentation and manage patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Radiology program and ARRT-R credential, with ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification required within 12 months of hire.
  • Previous experience in MRI is preferred, especially in a trauma facility or academic setting.
  • Current BLS certification is mandatory.
