Job Description

Title: Associate Manufacturing Technician
Work Schedule: (Days & Time): Monday Thursday 6: 00 am to 4: 30 pm 30 minute lunch @ 12
Pay Rate: $20.00 - 22.00/hr on W2
Work location & Type: 1844 Nelson Rd. Longmont, Colorado - 80501
Skills: 2 years minimum of experience using hand tools in some fashion
4- 10 hr work days
Opportunities for OT not mandatory
2 15 min paid breaks
Temp to hire We are looking for long-term employees

Screening Questions:
How do you handle repetitive tasks or tight production schedules without compromising quality?
Describe your experience with manufacturing using technical documentation.
Please explain how you would handle an unexpected obstacle encountered during a task, especially when you're midway through and things aren't going as planned?

JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION:
  • Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  • May use programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
  • Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
  • May work with engineers in conducting experiments.


CAREER LEVEL DESCRIPTION:
This is a junior entry level position where the incumbent has little or no work experience. Maybe vocationally qualified.

KNOWLEDGE:
Has little or no prior relevant training or work experience. Acquires job skills and becomes familiar with company policies through 'on-the-job' training.

PROBLEM COMPLEXITY:
Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Job requires judgment within defined practices and procedures.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & TYPICAL EXPERIENCE OR EQUIV. COMBINATION:
Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.
Works under close supervision.
