Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to join a dynamic public sector project in Austin, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex technical initiatives, design innovative automation solutions, and make a measurable impact in a fast-paced Agile environment.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain RPA solutions using Blue Prism and Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and validate HTTP responses, ensuring seamless integration with web services and APIs.
  • Work with Azure infrastructure, RESTful web services, and SQL/NoSQL databases to support robust automation workflows.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members when needed.
Required Skills & Education

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development, including 4+ years with Blue Prism.
  • 8+ years in web development (HTML, JavaScript, DOM, HTTP protocol).
  • Strong experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and RESTful web services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications

  • API development experience (4+ years).
  • Expertise in process discovery, requirements gathering, and solution architecture.
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, or Python.
  • Azure infrastructure troubleshooting (3+ years).
  • Agile development experience (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Certifications: Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform Developer.
  • Prior experience supporting Health and Human Services or OIG projects.
