Join our dedicated team as a Nuclear Medicine Specialist at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance. This full-time position offers 80-hour day shifts and a generous $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires who meet the qualifications.

As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will play a crucial role in healthcare by utilizing radionuclides to aid in diagnosis and treatment. With your advanced skills, you will perform a diverse range of nuclear medicine procedures and data processing tasks, producing detailed images for licensed practitioners’ interpretation. Your professional judgment and commitment to medical ethics will ensure the highest quality care for patients undergoing these essential procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
  • National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist certification upon hire.
  • California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 6 months of experience within the last year, or a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience with no more than a 1-year absence from nuclear medicine.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (not required if you are a recent graduate from an approved training program).

Pay Range: $49.40 - $76.68 per hour, plus potential additional compensation for shift differentials, overtime, and additional incentives.
