Part-Time Seasonal Store Support Associate

Join our team as a Part-Time Seasonal Store Support Associate, where you will play a key role in delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for our Guests. This position involves a variety of sales support tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.
The essential functions of this role include:
- Welcoming Guests with a friendly attitude and providing knowledgeable answers to their questions about the store and merchandise.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and key holiday periods, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, based on business needs.
- Processing Guest transactions using Point of Sale (POS) software and ensuring purchases are bagged properly.
- Staying updated on current sales, promotions, policies about payments and exchanges, and security practices.
- Identifying potential security risks and appropriately responding to theft situations.
- Assisting in merchandising tasks, including preparing store displays at heights no greater than ten feet, organizing store fixtures and shelving, completing mark-downs, and inventory transfers.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting store environment to support our mission.
- Upholding Buckle’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures.
- Fostering a positive team spirit while striving for exceptional Guest service.
- Participating in special projects and taking on additional duties as needed.
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities, and no prior experience is necessary.
The job also requires physical capabilities such as standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, and the ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs effectively. Specific visual abilities required for this role include close vision and depth perception.
You will primarily work in a retail store setting, where the noise level is typically moderate. Buckle is dedicated to hiring a diverse team and ensuring equal employment opportunities based on personal capabilities and qualifications.
