We are hiring a skilled Maintenance Mechanic specializing in high-speed manufacturing

Your role involves ensuring plant safety and regulatory compliance. You will install, adjust, and repair critical production machinery like blow molders, trimmers, and palletizers. Key responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, inspecting/rebuilding hydraulic and pneumatic systems (hoses, valves, pumps), and using welding/fabrication skills for repairs. You must excel at troubleshooting root problems in blow mold and bagging equipment to maintain optimal processing condition. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required. Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
-Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and other related equipment.
-Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
-Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
-Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps
-Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
-Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
-Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
-Troubleshoot, locate root problems and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.
-May operate blow mold or injection machines
-Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
-Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment and plant design.
-Receives instructions on specific job task by Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
-Other duties as assigned by management.
-Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and work is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs standing for 8 hours at one time
Skills pneumatics (2 years of experience is required) hydraulics (2 years of experience is required) preventive maintenance (2 years of experience is required) Blow Mold Machines (2 years of experience is preferred) Injection Machines (2 years of experience is preferred)
