Job Responsibilities

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $36.73 - $60.93
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, and document care according to policies and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and identify patient conditions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand patient needs and responses to care provided.
  • Utilize sound nursing judgment in managing patient care effectively.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer prescribed and over-the-counter medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive care plans for all patients.
  • Guide and oversee auxiliary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of a recognized nursing program (Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree).
  • Current Registered Nurse license in New York State.
  • Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care settings.
  • Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement concepts and practices, with the ability to apply them effectively.
