Registered Radiology Technician - Cath Lab

Location

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM or until cases are complete. Flexibility to meet volume required. On-call: 6-10 shifts per month varies depending on staff support.

Job Description

The Registered Radiology Technician will work in the Cath Lab, participating in procedures such as left heart catheterization with PCI, pacemaker and ICD placement, Watchman procedures, and EP ablations. The role involves scrubbing in during various cath lab procedures and collaborating with a skilled team.

Responsibilities

  • Scrubbing in during cath lab procedures, including EP interventions.
  • Operating Phillips and GE X-ray equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to unit policies and guidelines.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Registered Radiology Technician certification.
  • Previous experience scrubbing in cath lab procedures and EP is essential.
  • BLS certification.
