Non profit office seeking an experienced accounting professional. The right professional for this role will assist the accounting department with accounts receivable, payable, invoices, journal entries, general ledger, quickbooks, audits, expenses and a self-starter, very organized and great at multi-tasking. Technology savvy and proficient in excel is a must Pay is based on experience $24+ hourly

salary: $24 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • General Ledger reconciliation
  • Financial report preparation
  • Month-end close procedures
  • Bank Reconciliations (GL, credit card)
  • Journal Entries
  • Non-profit accounting
  • Income and Expense reconciliation
  • Audit preparation and support
  • Sales Tax filing


The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week working weekends
Skills Accounts Receivable (3 years of experience is required) Accounts Payable (3 years of experience is required) Invoices (3 years of experience is required) cash disbursements (3 years of experience is required) reconciliations (3 years of experience is required) deposits (3 years of experience is required) Month-End Close (3 years of experience is required) VERY organized (3 years of experience is required) Prioritizing (3 years of experience is required) Multi-tasking (3 years of experience is required) sales tax filing (1 year of experience is required) nonprofit accounting (1 year of experience is required) Quickbooks (1 year of experience is required) Journal Entries (1 year of experience is required) General Ledger (1 year of experience is required) audit preparation (1 year of experience is required)
