SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under direction of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider, contributes to the basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary to continue operations within the clinic. Actual job tasks may vary depending on the clinic assigned.

Silver Creek and Family Practice Mechanicsburg is located right off the Carlisle Pike in the center of many businesses and shops, and can make for an easy commute Family Practice serves all ages 0-100, where one gets to grow with their patients and get to know them. This clinic will see around 100 patients a day and is looking for a team-oriented, flexible individual who likes to work in a fast-paced environment. Join a great team in the Medical Group today **All hires are required to commute to the Hershey, PA area for a week and a half of training at the beginning of employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES- The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Provide patient care as directed by the provider in meeting the needs of rooming and comfort of each patient.

  • Obtain and document vital signs.

  • Obtain noninvasive specimens and maintain the integrity in accordance with policy, procedure, and physician order.

  • Perform EKGs as assigned, following accepted practices, policies, procedures, and physician order.

  • Provide for or assist patients with mobility and intake within the clinic setting. Assist in problem solving and troubleshooting in the care and maintenance of equipment and assists in ensuring adequate supplies are available within the clinic.

  • Complete clerical responsibilities for task completion based on ability and training.

  • Treat all patients, family, and other visitors with respect, and engage with them in a tactful manner at all times

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within six (6) months of hire
