As a DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you'll help streamline the software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You'll incorporate development practices and cloud resources to cut down on tedious tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-create. You'll work with the team to implement and secure continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. You Have:

• 5+ years of experience working in a commercial cloud environment such as AWS or Azure

• 5+ years of experience automating infrastructure provisioning with tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform

• 5+ years of experience writing scripts using tools such as Python or Bash

• 5+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

• Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment

• Knowledge of networking within a cloud environment

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in DevOps, or 9+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience automating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab

• Experience hosting applications on commercial cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms with tools such as Docker or Kubernetes

• Experience working with commercial networking technologies such as F5 or Palo Alto

• Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks

• Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments

• Top Secret clearance

• AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
