Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a respected correctional facility in Billerica, MA, currently seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time positions. Correctional or psychiatric experience is required.
Position Details:

Location: Billerica, MA

Facility Type: Correctional Facility

Start Date: January 5th
-
Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for extension
-
Schedule: Friday, 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM
-
Pay: $55/hr
Responsibilities:
-
Administer medications and assist with medical treatments
-
Perform triage, risk assessments, and emergency first aid
-
Apply surgical dressings and bandages
-
Monitor and record vital signs
-
Collect specimens for diagnostic testing
-
Document care accurately and timely
-
Report reactions to treatments and changes in patient condition
-
Educate patients and assist with discharge planning
-
Promote a therapeutic and professional environment
-
Support physicians and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Active Massachusetts RN license or proof of application
-
Minimum 1 year of correctional healthcare or psychiatric experience
-
Current CPR certification
-
Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulation)
