Job Description Job Description Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate with experience in forklift operation, inventory management, and packing. As a Japanese-based company specializing in shipping freight via airline, you will play a crucial role in receiving, unloading, and re-packing freight for our clients. Your expertise in inventory and warehouse operations is essential, as you will handle a minimum of 10-20 units of freight per day. In addition, you will assist with operations related to our sister company, ensuring seamless collaboration. Responsibilities Frequently use radio for picking, receiving, and storing freight. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damages or defects. Operate product handling equipment safely and efficiently while loading and unloading freight. Perform labeling, sorting, and re-packing as needed. Conduct inventory procedures accurately and with integrity. Provide general business support as assigned. Ship and receive cargo in compliance with TSA, C-TPAT, or TAPA requirements. Select products and prepare packages for shipment. Assist with pallet and cargo preparation. Maintain cleanliness of the facility and trash compactor. Essential Skills Warehouse experience Inventory management Forklift operation Packing Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years of warehouse experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 1 year of packaging experience Ability to read and write English Work Environment You will work in a small warehouse alongside one other team member, handling about 10-20 units of freight daily. This role demands a high level of attention to detail due to specific packaging requirements for our Japanese clients. Comprehensive training will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dulles, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
