As a Lead Software Engineer - AI/Algorithms, you will:

  • Design and build an AI/ML platform that optimizes both development speed and cloud cost efficiencies.
  • Work collaboratively with the AI team to achieve impactful goals that drive substantial revenue growth.
  • Provide mentorship to AI engineers on data engineering and MLOps best practices.
  • Guide engineers throughout Keebo on data engineering and architecture best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A proven background as a data engineer with experience in building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing robust data modeling for ML and analytical use.
  • Proficiency in MLOps, particularly in using automated testing and CI/CD practices to accelerate model development.
  • Expertise in monitoring the quality and effectiveness of ML/AI models from development to production.
  • Familiarity with GCP or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Programming skills in Python and Golang, or similar languages.
  • Adept at designing scalable and resilient data engineering and MLOps architectures while balancing cost and rapid development.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to drive systems and architecture improvements independently.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the capability to advocate for best data engineering practices across the organization.
  • Experience in mentoring engineers in data engineering best practices.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills tailored for a distributed team across various time zones.
  • An ability to demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Java.
  • Experience using Google Cloud.
  • Previous roles as an ML/AI engineer.
