Your Key Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive assessments of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting individualized treatment plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (based on your credentials)
- Educating patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness practices, and management strategies
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies as per your practice scope
- Engaging in follow-up care and chronic condition management for patients
- Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, patient-centric care
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain these within 90 days)
- A strong clinical skill set complemented by a compassionate approach
- Excellent communication abilities with patients, their families, and fellow healthcare professionals
