Job Responsibilities
- Create Customized Treatment Plans: Identify individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to support their functional aspirations.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living tasks.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver well-rounded care.
- Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide instruction to patients and their families about therapy methodologies to maintain progress beyond the therapy setting.
- Assess and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure continued advancement.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development encouraged and supported.
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
- A true dedication to helping others achieve their maximum level of independence.
- Excellent communication skills, both empathetic and clear, with patients and team members alike.
