Job Title: Hardware Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to design and develop gas detection electronic devices using electrical engineering principles. The successful candidate will collaborate with software and firmware teams to ensure seamless connectivity with the hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Design hardware for gas detection electronic devices.

  • Utilize electrical engineering principles in hardware development.

  • Collaborate with software and firmware teams for hardware connectivity.

  • Perform testing, debugging, and validation of hardware.

  • Design circuits, including both digital and analog circuits.

  • Utilize microcontrollers effectively.

Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering or electrical engineering.

  • Proficiency in PCB design.

  • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits.

  • Experience in hardware testing and validation.

  • Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Qualifications in hardware or electrical engineering.

  • Knowledge of FPGA and microcontrollers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
