The facility offers a full range of healthcare services, including emergency care, maternity, orthopedics, oncology, neurosciences, and advanced surgical capabilities. Opened in 2021 and located adjacent to a major university, this hospital provides all-private patient rooms and is equipped with the latest healthcare technologies to enhance patient outcomes and experiences. Key Responsibilities: Direct, plan, organize, and evaluate the operations of the Labor and Delivery and PNU departments. Ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory organizations (e.g., State, TJC, CMS, AHCA). Collaborate with hospital administration and integrate departmental activities into broader hospital initiatives. Oversee budget, staffing (27 FTEs), and marketing functions related to the unit. Maintain responsibility for staff performance and departmental compliance with policies and safety protocols. Oversee approximately 1,500 births annually and manage 20 postpartum beds and newborn nursery services. Required Qualifications: Current Florida RN license or Compact Licensure (as per Florida State Licensing Requirements). Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BLS & ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days of employment). NRP certification (or obtained within 90 days). STABLE certification (or obtained within 60 months).
