As an automotive technician at Midas, you'll engage in a variety of exciting and challenging tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Diagnostics with state-of-the-art computer systems
  • Tire services and repairs
  • Heating and air conditioning systems
  • Steering and suspension work
  • Replacement of belts and hoses
  • Radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Batteries, starting systems, and charging systems
  • Brake diagnostics and repairs
  • Oil changes and maintenance
  • Addressing check engine light issues
  • Muffler and exhaust services
  • Conducting visual safety and courtesy inspections

What We Are Looking For:

  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Strong knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
  • Proven high personal productivity and efficiency
  • Adherence to safety and environmental standards in repair facilities
  • Experience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
  • State-specific auto repair certifications
  • A valid driver's license
  • Own necessary tools and equipment, with diagnostic tools being preferred
  • Capability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
