Life & Health Benefits Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Team Leader to build, mentor, and lead a remote team of life insurance sales professionals. This role blends hands-on sales leadership with coaching, performance management, and team development.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in sales, proven leadership capability, and a genuine interest in developing high-performing teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional ready to step into—or further establish—their leadership career in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, onboard, and manage a team of life insurance sales representatives
Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support
Foster a collaborative, accountability-driven, and goal-oriented team culture
Implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed team revenue goals
Monitor individual and team performance, using data to identify improvement opportunities
Lead by example through active participation in sales activities and client engagements
Ensure high-quality client interactions and consistent service standards
Support team members in navigating complex client needs and scenarios
Maintain long-term client relationships to encourage retention and referrals
Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques and industry best practices
Keep the team informed on regulatory updates, product changes, and company policies
Identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching to elevate team performance
Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within life insurance or financial services
Strong sales background with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze performance data and implement strategic improvements
Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of leading a fully remote team
Fully Remote Role: Work from anywhere in the U.S. (excluding NY & MA)
