Cryptographic Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilledCryptographic Systems Engineerto support the design, development, and certification of secure communication systems for classified environments. This role involves working closely with the NSA and other government entities to ensure compliance with Type 1 encryption standards and secure system architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful engagements with the NSA and experience in developing secure systems for classified waveforms and embedded encryption technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead systems engineering efforts for secure communications platforms, including architecture design and documentation for NSA certification.
• Develop and support Type 1 encryption solutions integrated into hardware systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support classified waveforms and embedded cryptographic algorithms.
• Interface with NSA and other government agencies to ensure compliance and successful certification.
• Support the development of secure sensor devices and cross-domain solutions for classified data transfer.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience working directly with the NSA, with a history of successful project certifications.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering and architecture, particularly for secure systems.
• Experience with Type 1 encryption certification processes.
• Familiarity with embedded encryptors and advanced cryptographic algorithms.
• Ability to support classified communications and waveform technologies.

Preferred Skills & Technologies:

• Experience withHAIPE (High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor)technologies.
• Background in systems engineering for software-defined radios and secure communication systems.
• Knowledge ofBeyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS)communications.
• Experience withcross-domain solutions,data guards, and secure data transfer mechanisms.
• Familiarity with the design and development of encrypted sensor devices and secure embedded systems.
