This is a 13-week assignment offering full-time hours with 8-hour shifts each day. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assisting with clinical tasks, and supporting the medical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for examination. Take and record patient vitals, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature. Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures. Perform routine lab tests and prepare specimens for analysis. Administer medications and injections as prescribed. Ensure patient records are updated and accurate. Provide patient education on medical procedures, treatments, and medications. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Handle patient scheduling, referrals, and billing as needed. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures. Proficient in using medical office equipment and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
