Position Summary:
A valet attendant is responsible for driving, parking, and retrieving guest vehicles to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience upon their arrival and departure. The valet parking attendant returns vehicles from the parking lot promptly and safely and provides excellent customer service to each guest.

Essential Functions (Principal Duties and Job Responsibilities):

  • Thank guests with real admiration and provide a fond departure
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact politely and efficiently with guests.
  • A friendly and courteous demeanor.
  • Professionalism and attention to detail to ensure the safe handling of vehicles and belongings.
  • Punctuality
  • Physical stamina and agility to stand for extended periods, lift items, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent driving skills, including the ability to park in tight spaces and navigate busy traffic.
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Good Customer Service Ability
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred:
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and parking regulations.
  • Familiarity with basic valet systems, ticketing software, or smartphone apps may be required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to show leadership and manage time efficiently
Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Preferred previous experience at a hotel or as a valet attendant

• Valid driver's license and excellent/clean driving record

• Able to drive cars with manual and automatic transmission

• Good communication and excellent customer service skills

• 25 years of age or older

• Clear background check.

Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Insurable
