Job Overview: We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our outpatient facility in Napa, CA. This role is ideal for a physician experienced in adult and geriatric care, with a small portion of pediatric patients. The position requires expertise in EKG interpretation and offers opportunities to perform a variety of procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care, with a focus on 90% adult and geriatric patients and 10% pediatric patients.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for efficient patient management.
- Interpret EKGs and integrate findings into patient care plans.
- Perform acute, chronic, and preventative care for patients.
- Optionally, engage in additional clinical activities such as:
- Splinting
- Employment physicals and examinations
- Disability exams and workers' compensation evaluations
- Adult procedures
- X-ray interpretation
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation.
- Experience in splinting.
- Conducting employment physicals and examinations.
- Performing disability exams and workers' compensation evaluations.
- Experience with adult procedures.
- Ability to interpret X-rays.
