Job Summary: As a SAFe Product Owner, your role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of our products and services while adhering to values, principles, and successful patterns. Joining a cross-functional team, you'll collaborate closely with Product Management, Architecture, and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and validate the evolving solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Ownership: Serve as the primary contact for the product, accountable for defining, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Vision and Strategy: Develop and communicate a concise product vision and strategy aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Prioritization: Assess features and user stories based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility to guide high-priority work.
  • Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development teams' clarity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, customers, and development teams to align everyone with the product vision.
  • Agile Framework: Drive the implementation of SAFe principles and champion agile methodologies.
  • Roadmap Development: Contribute to the product roadmap outlining delivery schedules and milestones.
  • Release Planning: Participate in release planning, prioritize features, conduct sprint planning, and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Product Delivery: Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: 8+ years as an agile product owner (Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience is acceptable).
  • Expertise: Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role within an agile environment. Deep understanding of agile methodologies and the SAFe framework.
  • Decision-making: Ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, proficiency in Jira Software, Confluence, LucidCharts, Jira Align, AgilityHealth.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Certification: SAFe 6.0 Product Owner/Product Manager Certification.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills are essential.
