Looking to trade your current position for a new opportunity? Doherty Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a leading supplier in the complex assembly industry located in Mankato, MN. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. This company is hiring Assemblers to work on 1st shift, 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation for these positions is $18.00 per hour. Interested? Get more details belowWhat an Assembler will do:
  • Perform general assembly steps such as labeling, taping, masking, coating, assembly of components to boards, and other hand and machine operations
  • Cut board assemblies out of panels using side cutters or other depanelizing equipment
  • Use pliers, cutters, and small hand tools for various steps in board assembly
  • Assemble circuit boards into finished products
  • All other duties as assigned by your supervisor/manager
What you need to be an Assembler:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior soldering experience preferred, but not required
  • Trained in IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies preferred, but not required
  • General knowledge of electronic components
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings specifications and instructions
  • General computer skills
  • Willingness to cross-train into different positions as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend the English language
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screening test and criminal background check
