CONTROLS TECHNICIAN

RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Maintain and improve upon all hardware required for control systems located on the facility floor
  • Understand and support PLC and HMI programs
  • Understand and support robotic programming (ABB S4, Motoman MRC XRC NX100, Fanuc RJ2 RJ3)
  • Assist engineers in specifying ancillary robotic welding equipment
  • Troubleshoot and fix equipment as needed
  • Complete scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Train co-workers as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • 2+ years experience as a Controls Technician
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
• PAY AND SHIFT TIMES:
  • Pay is based on experience
  • Position is on 1st shift; schedule is 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Overtime, including weekends may be required


This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Maintenance team and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager.
