Job Title: Physician - Cardiac Anesthesiologist

Shift: Varied; 8, 10, 12-hour shifts + On-call

Experience: Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Anesthesia
License: New York License (or willing to obtain)
Certifications: ECHO Board Certified and/or Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship-Trained, BLS, ACLS, PALS (by time of start)
Must-Have:
- Willingness to work across multiple campuses.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates.
Job Description:
- Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve replacements, and other complex cardiac surgeries.
- Work at a high-volume inpatient heart center.
- Collaborate closely with a team of cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of anesthesia protocols and practices within the institute.
- Assist in handling cardiac and vascular cases, with no involvement in obstetric or trauma cases.
- Be part of a call rotation of 1:5, with first call every eighth night, with no second call.
- Work primarily with adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases.
- Not required to supervise CRNAs.
- Participate in a well-established and reputable practice known for providing compassionate care for over forty years.
