JOB SUMMARY:
As a Security Operations Supervisor, you will lead and manage all employees within the Security department, ensuring a safe environment for employees, vendors, and visitors. You will play a key role in supporting security needs across all areas and maintaining essential relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services. We are looking for a candidate who can embody the core values and operational principles of Andy Frain Services, while ensuring compliance with all training requirements. You will be responsible for observing and reporting incidents to enhance the security and safety of the property and personnel. Strong leadership skills and a professional image are essential.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- All employees must follow safe work practices and immediately report any unsafe conditions.
- All functions must be performed ethically, professionally, and in accordance with company policies. Seek clarification on guidelines whenever necessary.
- Execute the duties of a Security Officer as per the established post orders and company policy.
- Deliver exceptional service to our customers; greet visitors, vendors, and employees while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- Provide direction and oversee security operations at assigned sites, ensuring adherence to security/safety programs and completion of essential logs and reports.
- Develop and enforce security procedures, complying with facility policies and applicable laws. Be prepared to respond immediately to emergencies.
- Maintain knowledge of safety systems and security technology, ensuring their continuous operation.
- Operates necessary equipment, including communication devices and computers, while inspecting any security vehicle for damage regularly.
- Manage and counsel personnel as necessary, documenting disciplinary actions and seeking management advice if needed.
- Assist in training Security Officers, ensuring they understand post orders and responsibilities.
- Communicate regularly with the operations manager regarding account and guard performance, as well as security matters.
- Facilitate payroll processing and personnel documentation as instructed.
- Work with management to ensure adequate security staffing coverage.
- Inspect assigned sites regularly, confirming staff sign in/out accurately for their shifts.
- Meet with clients to confirm security requirements are being met and provide outstanding service.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Security and Operations Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience desirable.
- At least 2 years of experience in loss prevention, life safety, and security systems.
- Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within the Security industry.
- State Guard License is required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to meet state and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
- Knowledge of security operations and supervisory practices.
- Strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Understanding of security devices and technology.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for diverse interactions.
