Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Specialized Analyst for full-time position to join our team. This role focuses on supporting the Office of Information Technology's Disaster Recovery Unit in analyzing, creating, and documenting Recovery Plans for mission-essential systems. The position is hybrid in New Jersey.
What You'll Do
  • Support the Disaster Recovery team in analyzing and creating Disaster Recovery Plans for critical systems impacting various public and private sectors
  • Perform client engagement work associating technologies with business processes identified through meetings with internal IT teams, agency partners, and management
  • Document the relationships between business impact analysis, risk assessments, and meetings with business owners
What You'll Need :
  • 2 years experience conducting business impact analysis
  • 2 years prior experience working within the lifecycle of Disaster Recovery
  • 1 year experience with hot/cold/warm sites
  • 2 years experience conducting backup assessments
  • Strong knowledge of business continuity management principles, procedures, techniques, and disaster response
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
