Job Title: Workday AI Architect - Onsite, Connecticut

Job Location: Connecticut (onsite at client location)

Job Type: Contract (C2C / W2) - Open to negotiation for the right candidate

Experience: 8-15 years

About the Role:

We are looking for a Workday AI Architect to join a client-facing team and lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This is an onsite role in Connecticut and requires someone with strong consulting experience and hands-on Workday AI/Illuminate expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic design and implementation of AI solutions in Workday HCM, Finance, and Talent Management.
  • Collaborate with Workday product teams and client stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT.
  • Identify AI integration opportunities to enhance business processes.
  • Develop and maintain AI adoption and implementation roadmaps for global customers.
  • Work with client IT and business directors to define AI use cases.
  • Lead technical discussions, presentations, and project reporting.
  • Mentor and guide team members on AI-related Workday solutions.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of consulting experience, preferably with a large consulting firm.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Illuminate.
  • Led at least two full life cycle Workday implementations.
  • Experience in creating AI implementation and adoption roadmaps for global customers.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Fluent English, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Workday HCM, Finance, and Talent Management modules.
  • Familiarity with Workday APIs, Integrations, and Studio.
  • Exposure to third-party benefits/payroll vendors is a plus.
