As an Auto Body Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a top-tier customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair of each vehicle. Your work will restore customers' vehicles to pre-accident condition while aligning with our commitment to speed, quality, and excellence. You will collaborate with team members to achieve key performance indicators and embody the values of The Boyd Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service following the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.

• Evaluate necessary repair work and prepare accurate cost estimates for customers.

• Utilize tools such as cutting guns and hammers to fix vehicle body issues, ensuring quality repairs.

• Realign and repair vehicle frames and chassis to address structural damage.

• Replace damaged vehicle sections with new or aftermarket parts, including glass and windshields.

• Conduct repairs on interior components as needed.

• Weld and fit parts appropriately, preparing and painting vehicles to match factory specifications.

• Complete work orders efficiently within labor time guidelines and conduct thorough inspections post-repair.

• Assist in other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair is preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong ability to interpret job orders and work independently.

• Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team.

• In-depth understanding of auto body repair methods and procedures.

• Proficient in using trade tools and equipment safely and effectively.

Additional Requirements

• Able to work safely in a noisy environment with various odors.

• Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds as needed.

• Ability to visually assess vehicle damage in different weather conditions.

• Physical agility to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat for repairs.
