- Follow directions from the Leader or Supervisor.
- Train and assist new employees effectively.
- Communicate job status updates to the Electric/Pneumatic Assembly Supervisor.
- Participate in equipment start-up and debugging processes.
- Ensure high-quality craftsmanship in completed projects.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the department.
- Understand job deadlines and organize work accordingly.
- Collaborate with Controls Engineers to troubleshoot design and control issues.
- Suggest improvements for work methods and materials to enhance current designs.
- Travel as necessary to support installations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving at customer sites.
- Update your supervisor daily on job progress.
- Recommend and document engineering changes as required.
- Assist in the packing and loading of machines for shipment.
- Provide coverage for absences as needed.
- Order materials and coordinate with Receiving as necessary.
- Read and interpret build prints accurately.
Education: High School Diploma is required.
Journey status or a valid Journeyman's card is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an industrial pipefitter.
