Construction Training & Personnel Specialist
Are you passionate about developing talent and driving operational excellence? Do you thrive on creating streamlined onboarding experiences and impactful training programs? As a Construction Training & Personnel Specialist, you'll play a key role in connecting our Construction, Talent Management, and People Operations teams-ensuring our employees have the knowledge, tools, and support they need to succeed.
You'll design and deliver engaging onboarding and training programs, standardize construction procedures, and promote a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement across our teams.
What You'll Do:
- Coordinate and deliver onboarding experiences for new construction employees.
- Partner with Construction Leadership, Talent Management, and People Operations to align training, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
- Assist the hiring manager in the hiring process for construction professionals.
- Develop and maintain training programs for construction staff, including safety certifications, leadership, and technical skill development.
- Draft, standardize, and update construction Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance.
- Maintain accurate training records and generate reports on certifications and compliance tracking.
- Support professional development and career pathing frameworks for construction team members.
- Drive engagement and retention through clear communication, consistent processes, and a culture of continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in training coordination or construction operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, LMS platforms, and project coordination tools.
