Monitors costs involved in Project 2029 and documents what Project 2029 does. Provides overall fiscal guidance. Making certain everything is documented and disseminated throughout the organization.
Purpose
Responsible for all the financial, administrative, and cost analysis of Project 2029 tasks and initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Attends meetings and keeps notes of completed objectives, action items, and blockers.
- Coordinates with Deputy Incident Commander and other staff to track Project 2029 costs, tasks, and initiatives.
- Provides fiscal guidance for Project 2029, including compliance with NFP, taxes.
- Monitor the utilization of financial assets and the accounting for financial expenditures.
- Oversee the documentation of Project 2029 tasks, history, and plans. Manage staff that perform these tasks.
- Activate Finance/Admin Section roles, as necessary, and notify the Resource Specialist of roles activated.
- Experience as an accountant
- Experience managing documentation projects
- Experience managing accounts receivable and payable
- Ability to produce any tax-related documents on behalf of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly explain material to a range of audiences
- Keen attention to detail
- Degree in Accountancy or similar field
- Proactive, transparent communicator who is comfortable with seeking help from others
- Able to manage time effectively and independently prioritize tasks
