Position Highlights:
  • Position: Insurance Representative I
  • Location: Skokie, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
What you will do:
  • Initial collection activities related to the insurance balance on hospital accounts.
  • Ensure correct payment received based on expected reimbursement
  • Reviews and analyzes all required demographic, insurance/financial, and clinical data procured by patient intake and registration areas necessary to expedite payment on patient's accounts
  • Performs pre-certification notification via telephone or electronically and gathers and completes all required documentation for submission to insurance carriers per payer requirements.
What you will need:
  • Education: High School Graduate, required 2yrs post high school or degree preferred
  • Experience: Initial collection on claims for all payers (government and Managed care payers
  • Skills: Computer keyboarding, Epic, math skill, understanding of Cpts, UB preferred, effective communicator and analytical
