A stealth-mode cybersecurity + AI startup backed by top accelerators, building autonomous AI agents that discover, exploit, and patch vulnerabilities in web applications at scale. These agents leverage principles of human penetration testers, enabling enterprises to keep pace with the rapid increase in AI-generated code. Small, focused founding team with backgrounds in AI and security.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable full-stack systems with emphasis on backend performance.
- Design and build APIs in Python to power AI agent frameworks.
- Create backend services using RESTful APIs/GraphQL, with PostgreSQL as the primary database.
- Contribute to AI-driven cybersecurity agent systems.
- Optimize backend systems (Docker, Kubernetes, distributed architecture).
- Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional team in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- Strong backend/full-stack engineering experience, ideally in early-stage startup settings.
- Expertise in Python, API design, PostgreSQL, and distributed backend architecture.
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, and AI libraries.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Agile tools.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to build scalable, reusable backend components.
- Bonus: Cybersecurity knowledge (vulnerabilities, security tools) and experience serving LLMs in production.
- Backend: Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes
- Frontend: Next.js, React, JavaScript
- AI/ML: LLMs, AI agent frameworks, AI dev tools
- Ground-floor opportunity at a YC-backed cybersecurity + AI company.
