Job Summary/Purpose

  • As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform high-quality radiographic procedures independently, ensuring the utmost care and professionalism in your work. You will evaluate patients accurately and apply appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic images.

About Our Department

  • The Diagnostic Imaging team utilizes cutting-edge imaging technology to provide essential information for swift and accurate diagnoses. Our services encompass X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, and Ultrasound.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

  • Must possess a current ARRT RT(R) credential. If you're registry eligible, obtain your credential within six months of hire.
  • A valid, unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology is required. New graduates may initially hold a temporary license, with a permanent license to follow within six months of hire.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification is essential.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Understanding of age-related patient care differences, adaptable communication skills, and a non-judgmental approach towards diverse patient populations.
  • Strong communication skills, with an understanding of medical terminology and the ability to facilitate information exchange within the team.
  • Knowledge of confidentiality regulations and the ability to comply with State and Federal (HIPAA) laws regarding health information.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service, understanding customer needs, and evaluation of service quality.
  • Awareness of safety practices and the ability to maintain secure operations in a medical environment.
  • Ability to remain composed in stressful situations, managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks efficiently in a dynamic setting.

  • This position may require you to walk, stand, sit, and perform various physical tasks related to patient care and diagnostic imaging.
